Working for Us

Hi!

Today we will be talking about possible options to work for CAPS and the way the process works.

We have designed a highly effective program for people to follow in order not just to work for us, but to grow their own businesses along the way.

At CAPS, if you choose to join, you would be working as an "Independent Contractor." That's pretty much as "on your own" as the definition of the designation denotes.

Being an independent contactor is a lot like running a business. You have to do work, market yourself, get trained, improve, and grow - all without having direct commands coming from anyone above you.

Here's How it Works:

The job you will most likely be doing is facilitating groups/classes. We work in the Recovery services field, which includes things like mental health, substance use recovery, criminal justice, and veteran recovery support, among other things. We got started by offering training to people who wanted to support others.

You might:

  • Facilitate a Whole Health Program,

  • Teach a class

  • or, do outreach to find people who want wellness building opportunities, or education and knowledge related to supporting others. (Chiefly Peer Supporters certified by their states certifying organization.

You can:

  • Become trained to facilitate these groups

  • and, find organizations that provide support that will hire you to come facilitate a group or teach a class for the people they serve, or their employees.

For the Training:

For now, just contact us and we can schedule you to join the classes you will need to take to become a facilitator or teacher.

If you would like to learn more about just what facilitation looks like visit a page of our website with videos that discuss this and even to see videos of past classes to get an idea of what it might be like to do. You can visit that page by clicking here.

Become am Outreach Representative:

To learn about outreach, contact us to go through our 'Representative Training' process. In order to register contact us and put 'Representative Training' in your message - we will set you up with a trainer right away!

To find out more about becoming a Representative:

Please see the rest of this post. The rest of this post outlines the requirements to rise in the ranks as a member of our organization and spread access to the programs that ARE: Radical Recovery Peer Support!

This Following outlines the Multi -Level Marketing System that:

Community and Peer Services (CAPS)

will use in its operations.

There will be 8 levels in this system that can be gained in order to increase how much you earn and reduce any monies withdrawn or transferred from your earnings to your recruiters.

You will probably have a recruiter who brings you on through outreach. They will be positioned above you with more responsibilities and help manage a wider team of which you are a member. A person who has only completed the Radical Recovery Peer Support program is a level 1 member.

Level 2 & 3

The significance of level 2 and 3 is important in why we structure this in this way. Most people who want to be facilitators in fact want to run their own businesses, even if it is just them lining up their own jobs to run groups for people.

So, we are encouraging people to find their own students for their hands on Co-facilitator and solo Facilitator demonstrations which is the final check to make them into Co-facilitators or Facilitators. This would be their first experience conducting outreach and practicing explaining the program to others or using outreach scripts.

Requirements

·        If you get 3 people in you become level 2,

·        if you get an additional 6 people in you become level 3.

Responsibilities

·        At level 3 (solo facilitator) you will become eligible (alongside your Level 4 counterpart) to help participants who have gone through your classes, and the cofacilitators in training below you understand what to do or how to complete aspects of the program, including Zoom presentations and Canvas (online learning platform) obligations. In this way, helping 50 people and having them write a letter about your support will help you earn an “Exceptional Supporter Certificate.” Which will show that you have the ability to help people learn new systems which is great for helping you get into supervisory or management positions.

Pay

·        At level 2 and 3 you do not get money from the people below you as a percentage share of their earnings.

Level 4

Requirements

·        Level 4’s must bring an additional 30 people into the program above previous levels to reach level 4. Must have participated in facilitating at least 10 classes.

Responsibilities

·        Level 4’s manage the level 2’s and 3’s below them and try to reach out to the level 1’s trained by their 2’s and 3’s that they brought onto the team themselves, in order to get them to become facilitators.

·        Level 4’s will also reach out and promote the program to individuals and organizations.

Pay

·        Level 4’s receive 20% of the income and pay share of the people below them, I.e. Level’s 2 and 3

Level 5

Requirements

·        Level 5’s must bring in an additional 50 participants to attain the level. They also must have taught 60 additional classes.

Responsibilities

·        Level 5’s are people that help level 4’s close difficult deals and they do everything a level 4 does (except reach out to level 1 participant) but also organize community events.

·        Community events would be like conferences, exhibitions, or walks or runs or anywhere they can set up a “booth” and sell books or spread the message about the program and sign people up for groups or sell merchandise.

·        A level 5 might help level 4’s with their first major attempts at outreach so that they get people into the program.

Pay

·        Level 5’s receive 15% of level 4’s income

·        20% split of level 4’s pay from an outreach call when helping a level 5 with a big or difficult organization

Level 6

Requirements

·        Level 6’s will have taught additional 60 classes and will have brought in an additional 100 participants.

Responsibilities

·        Level 6’s will be responsible for creating a training program of their choice which will be mandatory for the people at lower levels. This will ensure that all team members on a lower level will be doing best and most effective practices.

·        They also will handle fundraising opportunities. They are eligible to receive 5% of all money raised under their efforts or applications. For instance, if you raise $100,000 you will have earned a 1 time payout of $5000.

·        Level 6’s will help level 5’s understand how best to conduct community events and will provide advice to level 5’s for difficult sales calls. Level 5’s and 6’s should be a powerful team.

·        Level 6’s are enabled to work with businesses to become part of Employee Assistance Plans, and will be enabled to do outreach to criminal justice institutions. Represents the criminal justice and EAP initiatives of the whole team as a team of level 6’s. Gets a share of 20% of the profit split between other involved level 6’s for anything generated from prisons or EAP’s.

Pay

·        5% of fundraising dollars

·        10% of level 5’s income

·        20% of profit from EAP and Criminal Justice operations split between other level 6’s on these particular outreach teams.

·        20% split of level 5’s pay from an outreach call when helping a level 5 with a big or difficult organization

Level 7A

Requirements

·        They will reach an additional 200 people into the program from their efforts.

Responsibilities

·        Level 7’s can do anything anyone else does at their own choosing.

·        They will mentor level 6’s and try to meet high outreach and class teaching goals.

·        They can participate on Level 6 teams for EAP and Criminal Justice, and get a share of the 20% split as well.

Pay

·        7.5% of level 6’s below them.

·        20% split with EAP and Criminal Justice

Level 7B

Requirements

These are the same as level 7A – Must have also taught 60 additional classes.

Responsibilities

Level 7B’s can be advanced facilitators: i.e. the people that train Co-facilitators and Facilitators.

Level 8

Requirements

·        Level 8’s will achieve 300 additional participants to go from level 7 to 8.

Responsibilities

·        Here they will handle all payroll and HR duties for their region.

Pay

·         Receives 5% of all level 7’s pay beneath them.

Information for Task Force Outreach Teams

If a person is assigned to a team or works on a team where a contract is gained with an organization who provides 50 or more students per year on a frequent basis, all of those who worked on the team will receive a share of 30% of the profit from income generated in this way.

It will be asked of all new participants if they have ever taken a class from that organization or any others or if they work for them. If a participant is connected to an organization you worked on a team for, you are eligible for this profit share. At 3 teammates this leaves 10% for each at minimum.

For normal referals

For regular individuals referred to the WHP’s, anyone connected to that outreach will receive $17 per student, which equates to $102 per class of 6.

In comparison the owner of Caps makes $120 and facilitators make $288… For now.

This is at $100 per student

The following is a breakdown of what the extra money due to position in the organization might look like as you climb:

***Keep in mind that the higher you go the more people and teams likely to be under your guidance leading to more income from your senior positions:
